The Bhoruka skill base continues to grow in engineering excellence and project management. With every new project the BPCL team gets better equipped to face the challenges of the future. People management and the way in which the company's employees interact internally and externally is an important area of management focus. Resources have been invested to sharpen this aspect of BPCL's business through training and personal development programmes. It shall be our endeavor to provide at least 7 man days of training to each employee during the year. This is a continuous process to ensure that BPCL meets the highest standards in all aspects of the company's operations. Today, the organization is driven by a 250 strong team.

Health & Safety

A safe workplace occupies prime position in BPCL's functioning. Measures to ensure a safe and healthy workplace have been identified with each of the company's project sites featuring a safety officer with regular safety programs conducted by the National Safety Council. The company's health policy underlines the necessity to prevent personal injury and protect every employee from foreseeable work hazards. While the company chalks out its responsibilities towards the safety of the employee, the policy also places equal emphasis on the need for personnel to adhere to company procedures for securing a safe workplace.

 

Human Rights Policy

  • We shall recognize, respect and promote the rights set out in the human rights act within our area of working.

  • Complicity is associated wit the concept of aiding and abetting an illegal act or omission. We will become aware of, prevent and address risk of complicity by integrating the common feature of legal anbd social benchmarks in to our due diligence processes

  Policy

The Company believes in the conduct of the affairs of its constituents in a fair and transparent manner by adopting highest standards of professionalism, honesty, integrity and ethical behaviour. Towards this end, the Company has adopted various policies, which lays down the principles and standards that
should govern the actions of the Company and its employees. Any actual or potential violation of the policy, howsoever insignificant or perceived as such, would be a matter of serious concern for the Company. The role of the employees in pointing out such violations of the policies cannot be
undermined.

Accordingly, this Whistle Blower Policy (“the Policy”) has been formulated with a view to provide a mechanism for employees of the Company to approach the Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Company.
